Flores, Rev. Odilon 99 , of Golden Valley, formerly of Mexico City, went to be with the Lord on 4/17/14. Preceded by loving wife of 62 years, Marina Flores. Survived by children: Aurea (Robert) Kendig, Hugo Flores, Mirza (Ambros) Hugin and Elsa (Richard) Peet; grand-daughters, Laura, Alejandra (Patricio) Nava, Anna, Elsa and Sandra; great-grandsons Mauricio and Emilio. A reserved and humble man, Rev. Flores worked tirelessly for 47 years as a Presbyterian minister, serving churches in Mexico (Oaxaca, Monterrey, Mexico City) and Texas (Brownsville). His work included 8 years as Dean of the Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Mexico. During his ministry, he also served the governing bodies of the Presbyterian Church in Mexico in several capacities, including having been Moderator of the National Assembly. In retirement he and Marina moved to live with their daughters in Minnesota. We will remember him for his deep faith and commitment to serve God, as well as his kind and quiet manner.
