Beverly D. Sachi

Sachi, Beverly D. Surrounded by her loving family, Bev's beautiful, generous heart stopped beating on Monday, February 10, 2014. She was 74 years young. Bev is survived by her children: Michael (Kim) Sachi, Karen Sachi, Stephanie Engels and LeighAnne Sachi; her grandsons Ryan & Reid Paczkowski; by her sister Doris (Kirby) Postuma and brother Mark (Mary) Hayden and her husband, Wayne. Bev was the glue that held her family together. She was a stay-at-home mom for her children and later worked and volunteered for many years at ISD 622. After her retirement she volunteered many hours at Centennial schools, helping kids get their GED and teaching older adults in Adult Basic Education classes. Bev made friends where ever she went. She loved people. Bev was very talented and creative. She loved to sing and dance, tap and clogging, and play her guitar. She would quickly write songs for birthdays and parties. She recently joined the signing choir at St. Timothy church in Blaine. She is beloved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful staff of doctors and nurses in the intensive care unit at Unity Hospital in Fridley who cared for Bev and her family in her final days.
