Pearson, Melvin K. age 95, of Brooklyn Park went to be with the Lord on Jan. 26, 2014. Preceded in death by wife, Hazel. Survived by son, Wayne (Aldis) Pearson; daughter, Sharon (David) Douma; grandchildren, Tom (Krisitina) Douma, Eric (Deborah) Douma; Todd (Melinda) Pearson, Michael Pearson, and Kimberly (Scott) Marella; grandchildren, Blake, Brandon, Joseph, Hailey, Kyler, Brayden, Parker, Evan, Casey, William and Nicholas; sister, Ruth (Merland) Holmgren; nieces; nephews; and longtime special friend, Ken Weis. Melvin was an active member of First Lutheran Church of Crystal since 1958. He loved spending time with his family especially at the cabin. Visitation Friday (1/31) 10-11 am with service 11 am at First Lutheran Church of Crystal, 7708 62nd Ave. North, Brooklyn Park. Interment Glen Haven. Memorials preferred to donor's choice.
