Barcomb Catherine Komisky, age 57, December 28, 2001, at The Residence at Alive Hospice, Nashville, TN, after a long battle with bone marrow cancer. Preceded in death by her parents, John & Ethel Komisky; her former husband, Richard P. Barcomb, and grandmother, Minnie McLaughlin of St. Louis. She graduated from Ursuline Academy in St. Louis and the University of Tennessee, and earned a master's degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati. She was a long-time resident of St. Louis, where she faithfully served as Eucharistic minister at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. She is survived by a daughter, Michelle Ulmer (Eric); two sons, John and Paul Barcomb, all of Minneapolis; sister, Judy Orr (Jay), Nashville; five brothers, Paul Komisky (Dee), Memphis; Phillip Komisky, Houston; Steve Komisky (Adrienne), Franklin; Dennis Komisky, Manchester, NH; Mark Komisky (Kim), Baltimore; five nephews. Cathie donated her body to Meharry Medical College. A memorial service will be held January 19, 2002 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Nashville.
