Wiltgen, Leonard R. age 83, of Ephraim, Wisconsin and former long- time resident of Bloomington, Minnesota and Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2014. Beloved husband of Rita (nee Ledenbach) for over 61 years. Proud father of Nancy, Paul (Rosetta), Timothy (Dolleen), Laurence (Lois), Charles (Patty), Eric, Andrew (Kelly), Christine (Michael) King, and Sarah (Jeff) Bohrer. Cherished grandfather of Katie (Tyler) Monroe, Tony (Amy), Anne (James Yoder), Michelle (Jake Duncan), Bryan, Bobby, Bill, Chuck (Nok), Erin, Lauren, Jeffrey, Josh (Elizabeth), Daniel King, Jenny King, Alisa Christensen, Ryan Christensen, and Nick Christensen, and great grandfather of Emma, Max, Vito Duncan, and Shaylan. Uncle, granduncle and great granduncle to numerous nieces and nephews, and dear brother-in-law of Mary Jo Wiltgen. Len was born in Evanston, Illinois on July 3, 1930, to William and Rose (nee Resch) Wiltgen. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Jane (nee Wiltgen) Miller, and brother, Kenneth Wiltgen. Len was a proud alumnus of St. George High School and Northwestern University, both in Evanston, Illinois. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at St. Rosalia Church, Sister Bay, Wisconsin, with visitation at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m. A luncheon and celebration of Len's life will be held in the church hall following Mass.
