Teel, Constance A. of Minneapolis, MN. Born July 13, 1944 in Topeka, KS and died January 16, 2014 at Abbot Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Connie attended Hayden High School in Topeka, graduating in 1962. She attended St. Mary's College in Leavenworth, KS , transferred to the College of St. Scholastica in 1964, and graduated with a degree in Medical Records in 1967. Connie worked at Children's Hospital of Minnesota where she designed and built the Medical Records department. Later Connie was employed at Gillette Children’s Specialty Health Care as a grant writer before she retired in 2010. Survived by her father, Warren Teel, Topeka, KS; her special friend, Robert Ercolani; and her large family of friends. Preceded in death by her mother, Ruth (Hoffman) Teel, and her brother, Douglas Teel. Also preceded in death by dear friend, Natalie Lund. Connie was a talented, caring and compassionate friend who shared her many gifts with all she met, including her love of gardening, decorating, the arts. Connie was the most organized person among her friends and was often called upon to convert chaos into organization. She was the glue that kept her family of friends connected. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 21st at The Church of Christ the King, 51st and Zenith Ave S., Minneapolis. Visitation one hour prior to mass at church. Private interment.
