Enright, Marian K. (McCarthy) Walnut Creek, California June 9, 1911 - December 17, 2013 Born in Watkins, MN on June 9, 1911 to Michael J. and Anna (Baden) McCarthy. Preceded in death (1999) by husband Joseph W. Enright of Eden Valley; parents and sister, Mildred (Ryer), and brothers, Eugene and Austin McCarthy. Survived by sons, James (Marcia) of Seattle, WA and Thomas (Gail) of San Francisco, CA; 4 grandchildren, Marie, Julie (Furlan), Brian & Melissa; 2 great-grandsons, Oliver & Charles (Furlan). Marian graduated from St. Cloud Teachers College (BE Math, 1936), and USC (BS Library Science, 1942). Marian worked as a teacher in Eden Valley & Litchfield and as a librarian for the Navy and VA in Calif (1945-1960), and VA in Minneapolis (1960-1972), retiring in 1972. She lived with husband Joe in Calif. and St. Paul, MN until Joe passed away in Aug. 1999. She moved back to CA in 1999 to live closer to sons Tom & Jim & families. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, St. Anthony Catholic Church, Watkins, MN. Visitation 1 hour prior to service, with Rosary at 9:30 am at the church. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Watkins, MN. Reception to follow at Parish Center, Watkins, MN.
