Tuthill, J. Richard (Dick) age 81, 06/08/32-11/09/13, Fort Myers Beach, FL, former resident of Breckenridge, CO, Minneapolis, MN. Preceded in death by parents, James M. and Lila M. Tuthill, and daughter Lori Cordes; survived by his wife, true love and best friend of 40+ years, Mary J. Tuthill; sister Nancy Newkirk (Don); daughters, Tracy Tuthill Anagnost (Pete), Sally McNamee (Mike), and Lisa Cordes Alton; sons Whitney (Suzanne) and John (Tammy) Tuthill, and Jeff Cordes (Tracy); 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 11 grandchildren. Dick was a graduate of the University of Minnesota (Sigma Chi) and University of Minnesota Law School. After working as an attorney, he transitioned into the insurance industry to work with his father at the Tuthill Agency. His real passion was real estate, having rehabbed 23 residences in Minnesota, Colorado, and Florida with his wife. Dick and Mary shared a wonderful life together, putting over 200,000 miles on their motor home in which they lived a majority of the time. They traveled throughout the country, making friends wherever they went. Service to be determined at Lakewood Cemetery in Spring 2014. Special thanks to Hope Hospice of Fort Myers.
