George H. Johnson

Johnson, George H. Colonel, USAF (Retired) Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 16, 1924, will be laid to rest on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia. George passed away on March 9 in Meridian, Idaho. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota. George was a Navigator and Pilot and a highly decorated veteran who served his country in three wars. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley M. Sams also of Minneapolis and is survived by his children Wendy Eveland, George F. Johnson, TerryJo Johnson Wing and Deborah Desilets.
