Barbara J. McConnell

McConnell, Barbara J. age 100, of Edina, passed away October 12, 2013. Preceded in death by husband, Dick; daughter, Cammy Sklar; and sister, Emilee Lewis. Survived by daughter, Nancy Nichols; five grandchildren, Greg (Noushin), Jeff (Jilene), David (Sally), Michael (Karen), Megan (Ed); and 10 great- grandchildren. Family was very important to Barbara. She traveled extensively with her husband Dick and was able to visit China at the age of 80. Barbara will be remembered for her positive attitude and great smile. The family would like to thank the staff at Sholom Home West for their loving care of Barbara. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Salvation Army or Feed My Starving Children.
