Titus, Hiram E. of SW Minneapolis was born January 28, 1947 the first son of Hiram Sr. and Madeleine Titus. At the age of 66 he died unexpectedly on September 16, 2013 at Fairview Southdale Hospital. Preceded in death by his parents, Hiram is survived by his brother, Anthony (Kay) Titus of Eagan, MN and three nephews Christopher Titus of Miyagi, Japan; Adam Titus of Eagan, MN; and Jack Titus of Moorhead, MN. Hiram was a long time, well known pianist and composer in the Twin Cities in association with The Children's Theater, the Guthrie Theater, the History Theater, and the Minnesota Opera, as well as Unity Christ Church in Golden Valley, MN. A memorial service celebrating Hiram's life and music will be held on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, 2 pm at Nativity Lutheran Church, 3312 Silver Lake Rd NW, St. Anthony Village, MN. Private interment at Lakewood Cemetery, Mpls. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the McKnight Foundation with designation Arts, the Parkinson's Foundation, or Holden Village.
