Maus, Aaron L. Aaron Lloyd Maus, 33, of Minneapolis, passed away on August 15th, 2013, after a tragic motorcycle accident. Preceded by a cousin, David Brandt, and his paternal grandparents, Earl and Mary Maus and his maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Marge Cox. Survived by his parents, Michael and Diane (Cox) Maus; his brother, Nathan Maus; his sister-in-law, Katy (Conroy) Maus; and other family and friends. Aaron was an accomplished musician. He enjoyed traveling, living abroad, hanging out with his friends, and most recently riding and repairing motorcycles. Aaron was born in Brainerd, MN on December 21, 1979. He graduated Cambridge High School in 1998. He attended St. John's University, Collegeville, MN where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with degrees in Spanish and Psychology. He went on to study flamenco guitar for two years at La Fundacion Cristina Heeren de Arte Flamenco in Seville, Spain. At the time of his death, Aaron was working as a Mental Health Worker and Relief Coordinator for Tasks Unlimited, where he worked with adults with serious and persistent mental illness. He was in the process of opening a motorcycle repair shop with some friends. Aaron also taught Spanish at Hill Murray High School for one year. The family wishes to thank the emergency personnel that responded to the scene and all those who have offered their support and condolences. The world has lost a great son, brother and friend. His memory will live on in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater, MN 55082 (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd 5).
