Jonas, Peter age 90, of Plymouth, passed away 6/1/16. Peter was born in Berlin, and fled on the Kindertransport in 1939. He served in the British Army in WWII and came to Mpls in 1949. He started a furniture mfg. co. and retired as a furniture mfg. rep. He was preceded in death by parents Annie & Erich Jonas, brother, Gershon, brothers-in-law, Norman Garrison and Howard Gross. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Betty (Gross); children, Annette (Claude) Galula, Sam (Ronna) and Blair; grandchildren, Natan, Tomer, Meital, Gabriella, Alexander, Ethan and Arielle; sisters-in-law, Tirza Jonas, Carol Garrison and Harriet Gross; numerous loving nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11:00 am FRIDAY (TODAY) at ADATH JESHURUN CONGREGATION, 10500 Hillside Ln W., Mtka. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to STEP or Fairview Hospice.
