Johnson, Dennis E. "Bud" age 90, of Excelsior. passed away on May 30, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Many will remember him as "Bud" at Lakeland Motors, Excelsior, MN. He married his beloved wife of 46 years, Lorraine Prose, in December 1949 and they raised six children. Following the death of Lorraine, he was fortunate to find loving companionship with Nellie Vollrath for nearly 20 years. Bud was preceded in death by wife, Lorraine; son, Terrance; and three sisters. He is survived by children Gloria (George) Murray of Vermont, Charles Johnson of Arizona, Linda (Bill) Standke of Bloomington, MN, Michael (Kari) Johnson of St. Bonifacius, MN, and Russell (Laura) Johnson of Buffalo, MN, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorial service Friday, June 3, 2016 at 11:00 AM, Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 301 Co Rd 19, Excelsior (952-474-8893). Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Reception following the service. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Crystal. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
