Betty Peterson

Peterson, Betty age 88 of Buffalo passed away at her home on May 27, 2016. Funeral service on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 1 PM at The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo with a visitation one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment Howard Lake Cemetery, Howard Lake. Betty was born on December 9, 1927 at Waverly, MN to Walter and Edna (Ramthun) Brabec. She was baptized on January on 29, 1928 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Crawford Lake. She graduated from Howard Lake High School in 1945. She married Lloyd "Pete" D. Peterson on September 5, 1969 in South Dakota. Betty worked as a quality control inspector for 3M in Hutchinson, MN for many years. She enjoyed shopping, going to the casino and being with family and friends. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and truly enjoyed collecting snowmen. A special thank you to Annette Schmidt who was a beloved friend and neighbor. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lloyd, and two sisters. Survived by her sister, Charlotte Nelson and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
