Marcella M. Daehn

Daehn, Marcella M. age 88, of Mpls., died peacefully May 25, 2013 at N.C. Little Hospice. Retired from the position of City Clerk for the City of Edina. Preceded in death by husband, Floyd; brothers, Elmer and Lyle; parents, Herbert and Nora Jasper. She is survived by sister, Bernice Bode of Gilroy, CA; son, Daniel Daehn of Richfield, MN; daughters, Linda Daehn of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Debra Daehn Zellmer (Mark) of La Crosse, WI; grandsons, Derek Daehn and Timothy Zellmer of Mpls., MN; and granddaughter, Bethany Meiners (Brandon) of Caledonia, MN. Marcella is remembered for living her life with grace and dignity, as a devout Christian who exemplified her faith by her service to the church. Her love of travel took her to Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Opera, theater, classical music, books and gardening enriched her life, along with abundant and treasured relationships with family and friends.
