Mueller, Joyce Ann Age 82, of North Oaks, formerly of St. Anthony Village, passed away on May 20 at Waverly Gardens in North Oaks, of natural causes. Born in Le Sueur, MN on May 30, 1930 to Dr. Swan and Borghild Ericson. She worked as a Head Nurse at Abbott-Northwestern for decades and worked until she was 80 at Spinal Designs. She was always smiling, caring and supportive. Her healthy lifestyle and travel with friends Olive, Dorothy and her family, kept her vital and full of joy! Her kids were her priority, and were the recipients of her generosity. Joyce said, "I always make my own sunshine!" We all feel the warmth of her shining spirit and will feel her glow forever... Joyce was preceded in death by her former husband and father of her children, C. E. "Pat" Mueller. She is survived by her brother, Robert Ericson; her children, Deb Joy Mueller (Michael Monroe), Lynn Ann Brocksmith (Jim), and Jon Eric Mueller; grandchildren, Lara (Nicholas) Guest and Carrie (Matt) Monroe O'Keefe. An open house celebration of Joyce's life will be held 3-7 PM on June 3 at Silverwood Park, St. Anthony Village. Memorials in lieu of flowers preferred to the American Red Cross.
