Watson, Ruth Elizabeth Born August 13, 1918. Passed away peacefully on April 12 at Guardian Angels Care Center in Elk River. Preceded in death by husband, Merlyn (Mert) Watson; parents, Ella and William Grobe; brothers, Linwood, Elwood, Harold, William and George Grobe. Survived by daughters, Mary (Steve) Scarborough of Pequot Lakes and Carol (Lee) Beckman of Andover; grandchildren, Beth (Dave) Fisher, Nick Beckman, Craig (Leigh) Scarborough, John Beckman and Sarah (Scott) Martin. Also survived by her nine great-granddaughters, Kylie, Kendri, Madison and Molly Scarborough, Alyssa, Kaitlin and Megan Beckman and Makenna and Lauren Martin. Ruth was employed at Mercy Hospital for 16 years, was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church since 1951, a Charter Member of the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary where she volunteered for many years, and a Charter Member of Anoka Lioness. She loved traveling with her husband and their good friends and was an avid Minnesota Twins fan. Her family wishes to thank the caring staff at Guardian Angels for their love, compassion and devotion during her final years. "Ruthie" appreciated their special attention. Memorials preferred to Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Anoka or Anoka Lions/Lioness/Eye Bank. Services will be held at Mt.
