Gordon, Beverly Ann 1943-2016. Age 73 of Chandler, AZ. "She is clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future" Proverbs 31:25. On May 18, 2016, Beverly Ann Gordon, left this world to join God in heaven. She was always one to help her friends and those less fortunate than her. "You help where you can". She was a devoted wife and mother and is survived by Maurice Gordon, husband for 49 years, three sons, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Beverly was born on March 29th, 1943 to Charles and Agnes Duncan at Morris Hospital, Minnesota. She grew up on a farm outside of Hancock with four brothers: Ronald, Raymond, Richard and Roger. She graduated from Hancock High School in 1961, then from Wilmer Community College as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She met the love of her life, Maurice Gordon, in Minneapolis and they were married on February 18th, 1967. In 1980, they left the cold in Minneapolis to raise their three boys named Jonathan, Steven and Timothy in the much warmer climate of Tempe, AZ. She used her nursing skills for family and clinical settings throughout her life. Beverly was an active member at the Gateway Church of the Nazarene. Her legacy lives on, not only in her family, but in the friends she made along the way. Memorial service at May 28th at 2pm, Gateway Church of the Nazarene, 6935 E Williams Field Rd., Mesa, AZ 85212.
