Boyt, Madge Elaine (Pool) Age 95 of Bloomington passed away peacefully May 14, 2016. Born October 28, 1920, Bloomfield, MO. the seventh and youngest child of Dora and Edgar Jerome Pool. Preceded in death by husband Samuel W; son Sammy; brothers Willard and Carroll; sisters Frances, Hannah, Mable and Estelee. Survived by sons Bill and John (Paddy); daughter Suzanne (Kent) Johnson; grandchildren Tucker Boyt, Sarah (Jeff) Kiley, Benjamin and Elizabeth Johnson, Alexandra Anderson, Sam, and Martha Boyt; and great grandchildren Cole and Abby Kiley . She grew up around Dexter, MO, lived in Grants Pass, OR., the island of Hokaido, Japan, Saint Louis, MO, and eventually settled in Minneapolis. She began work as a beautician, owned and operated The Little Red Hanger on 47th and Chicago Ave., worked as an Aide at Northrop Elementary, and as a sales associate at Donaldson's at Southdale. She was a long time member of Minnehaha United Methodist Church. She was the best mom ever. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorial Service Monday, June 6, 10:00 AM at Minnehaha United Methodist Church, 3701 E. 50th St. Memorials preferred to Minnehaha UMC or Fairview Hospice. Washburn-McReavy 612-721-1651
