Schmidt, Ronald age 74, of Golden Valley, MN/Scottsdale, AZ passed away suddenly in Scottsdale on February 4, 2013 due to complications of a massive stroke. He is preceded in death by parents, Carl and Vivian Schmidt and brothers, Richard and Raymond. Survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 54 years, Jini; children, Scott (Mary), Sandy (Todd), Steve (Julie); dearly loved grandchildren, Kaela, Karly, Lauren and Collin. He will be missed by many other relatives and friends. After retiring from the Mpls. Dept. of Building Inspection, Ron and Jini split time between MN and AZ and always looked forward to their yearly trips to the North Shore and San Diego. Ron especially enjoyed working on his tan and desert landscaping. Ron's high school yearbook tagged him as a "Dapper Dan Raconteur" which proved true over the next 54 years.
