Joel Carter Stebbins

Stebbins, Joel Carter July 5, 1951 - October 28, 2012 Joel was very active through life. He was one of the areas most involved snow ski racers and crew member of Great Lakes Interlake Racing Association and raced sailing craft through the oceans of the world were his favored events. Joel also found great pleasure in spending weekends at the family cottage near Rice Lake, Wisconsin. It was while he was there the weekend of October 26 that he passed away in his sleep following a heart attack. Joel is survived by his father, Richard Stebbins; twin brother, Jeffrey Stebbins; brothers, Jerry & Richard Stebbins; sister, Catheryn Andrews (husband Rick Stoller). He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Stebbins. His life will be celebrated at the Chanhassen American Legion, 290 Lake Drive East on November 10 from 5 to 8 PM.
