Andrea Lorraine Sokolowski

Sokolowski, Andrea Lorraine 66, of St. Michael, lost her courageous battle with cancer on September 26, 2012 surrounded by her family at the North Residential Hospice. She was born to Robert and Lorraine Tedorson March 12, 1946; attended Minneapolis Roosevelt High School; was married to Thomas Sokolowski of Bayonne, NJ on July 31, 1971. Andrea was a dedicated daughter, mother, grandmother, and caregiver of animals. In addition she devoted 37 years to the care of others as a registered nurse. She enjoyed traveling around the many beautiful parts of this fine country in the company of family and to visit family. Andrea is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Thomas; sons, Jason (Kari) Sokolowski of Loretto and Jarrod (Megan) Sokolowski of Fallbrook, CA; grandchildren Megan, Michael, Janell, Jackson, Logan, and Everett; mother, Lorraine Tedorson of Minneapolis; sisters, Deborah and Lisa Tedorson of Minneapolis; and beagle Gracie. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert O. Tedorson. A private family gathering will be held the evening of Thursday, October 4th at Peterson chapel in St. Michael, MN. A public celebration of life and Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 AM Friday, October 5th with public visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Peterson Chapel St. Michael / Albertville.
