Polzin, Lila Edith of St. Michael passed away in Buffalo, MN the morning of June 23, 2012 at the age of 86 after a long battle with numerous health issues. Lila was a butterfly that energized everyone her life touched. Born in Dayton Township, Lila lived most of her life in Montrose where she was a devoted postal employee for the surrounding communities. She was an active member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Corcoran where she had been confirmed more than 70 years earlier. Her faith was a significant part of her life and her trust in God's will never wavered. Lila was preceded in death by her husband Earle and grandson Christian. She is survived by sons Richard (Connie), James (Ellen), and Todd (Lisa); grandchildren Kelsey, Jessica, Mary Kate, Grace, Joshua, Sydney, and Cooper; great-grandchildren Devin and Dagan; and many loving relatives. Funeral services for Lila will be held on Thursday, June 28th, 2012 at 11:00 A.M at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Corcoran. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 27th from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Peterson Chapel in St. Michael with further visitation one hour prior to service. Private interment will follow.
