Canelake, Vasilike "Coula" (nee Pappas) Age 85, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away May 1, 2016. Only child of Greek immigrant parents. Preceded in death by father Nick & mother Kontilo Pappas, Special godchild Pamela "Pammy" Peltekos. Survived by husband, John (Minneapolis, MN) and sons, Nicholas (Phoenix, AZ) and James (Minneapolis, MN); First cousins Coula Papadatos (Evanston, IL), Spiro Pappas (Tasia) (Northridge, CA) and George Belesis (Athens, Greece). Coula was a highly skilled, gifted and talented classical pianist having studied at MacPhail School of Music & Dramatic Art (Conservatory Education in Classical Music). She was the principal organist for several years at St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church under the direction of gifted composer, conductor, and close friend George Traficante. A private funeral will be held at St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church, followed by private interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
