Janet W. Berry

Berry, Janet W. age 78, of Excelsior, died peacefully at home on April 30, 2016. Preceded in death by mother, Mildred; and brother, Richard. Survived by children, Jill Wagner, Dallas Henry, and Karen Berry; grandchildren, Joey and Ryan; granddog, Star; other relatives and friends. Janet was born in St. Paul, MN and grew up in Highland Park. She went to St. Paul Central where she was Homecoming Queen in 1954. She attended college briefly before becoming an airline stewardess for Northwest. Janet then married and raised three wonderful children. Janet enjoyed gardening, reading, pet sitting, and being a grandmother to Joey and Ryan. In addition, she was a big sports enthusiast. Janet was a proud member of Colonial Church of Edina and volunteer at the MN Landscape Arboretum. Celebration of Janet's Life 11 AM on Friday, May 6th, 2016 at the Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel with visitation one hour prior. Private family interment at a later date.
