Klempke, William Darrel (Bill) of Paducah, KY, formerly of Rockford, MN, moved into his Heavenly Father's home April 27, 2016. Bill was son of Gustave & Blanch (Grotem) Klempke born 10/13/40 In Minneapolis and lived all his life in that area until moving to KY in Jan 2015. Bill was married to Pat on 12/28/96. The 19 years they were married were way too few! Bill retired in 2006 from Loram Maintenance of Way after 30 years as a mechanical engineer. While there he was awarded two patents for design improvements. Bill is survived by wife, Pat, two sons & two daughters-in-law, Scott & Sherry of Las Vegas, David & Shaun of Burnsville, MN, six grandchildren, Luke Arnold of Saugatuck, MI, Samantha Arnold & Courtney Klempke of Las Vegas, Bridgit Nistler of Edina, MN, Laura & Christopher Klempke of Burnsville, six great-grandchildren, Alex, Audrey, Angelia, Aiden, Colin & Noah, two sisters, one brother & one brother-in-law, Chris Howard, Betty & Jerry Mattson and Doug Klempke, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Gerald Klempke, one sister, Geraldine Burland, and three brothers-in-law, John Saxton, Bob Howard & Bob Burland. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30 at Friendship Baptist Church, 146 S. Friendship Rd, Paducah where Bill is a member. Following the service his ashes will be laid to rest at Cedar Grove Cemetery near Salem, KY.
