Watt, Jeanne Irene (Cavanaugh) passed away on April 13, 2016. She was born on June 14, 1928. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Irene Cavanagh, her husband, John G., son, John R., and siblings, Dolores (Cavanaugh) Kennedy and Thomas Cavanaugh. Survived by sister, Beatrice (Cavanaugh) Larson, sisters-in-law, Sophie (Tom) Cavanaugh and Patricia Putnam, many nieces and nephews, and her dear friend, Pilli Mample. Jeanne grew up in Mound, MN and later moved to Minneapolis. She worked for Honeywell where she met her husband John. They lived many places and retired to MN where they lived on Prior Lake. Jeanne was living at Sunrise of Golden Valley when she passed away. Jeanne enjoyed travel and traveled all over the world with her family, at one time living in Holland for almost a year. She and her son Johnnie were especially close and went on many trips together. She loved spending time with her extended family and friends, and enjoyed a good game of Bridge. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Edina. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Alzheimer's Association.
