Janet Margaret Hinz

Hinz, Janet Margaret Age 92, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2011 in Park Rapids, MN with family at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Ronald Hinz, and son, William. Margaret was born & raised in Nobles County MN. She graduated with honors from Coe College. She met her future husband, Ronald, while teaching in Avoca, IA. She is survived by her children, Janet Hollimon, Nancy Hinz, Paul Hinz, and Roni Hinz-Breslin, and niece, Susan Dittmar, whom she considered to be "a daughter"; grandchildren, Daniel Hollimon, Michael Hollimon, Brooke Hollimon, Brett Davidson, Alan Davidson, Mara Inglezakis; and great-grandchild, Brynn Hollimon. Margaret was continually active: she gardened, painted, served her community, was involved in the Lutheran church, loved the outdoors--especially the cabin in Northern Minnesota. We will remember her enthusiasm for life, positive attitude, compassion, and engaging smile. Her faith was an inspiration to us all. Memorial Service will be held on August 14, at 2 pm at Lyngblomsten Chapel, St. Paul, MN, and in Avoca, IA in the fall.
