Engler, Mildred Marie age 91, of Minnetonka passed away August 10 at her home. Preceded in death by husband John F., infant son, 2 brothers Bernard and Harold Betcher, sister Marion Lindeblom and her parents. Millie was born in Mazeppa, MN to Carl JW and Mamie (Lohman) Betcher, Graduated HS '38, Bradey & Rogers Beauty School '39. Millie was a beautician/philosopher, harmonica & accordion player, flower garden genius, doll collector, clog dancer and wonderful mother & grandmother. Millie was a friend to all and was always interested in your story. Survived by son, Gary (Kathy); daughter, Carla; niece, Lisa Meadows; grand nephew, Eli Wething; grandchildren, Heidi Taylor, Sientje, June, Molly, Zac, & Charlie Engler; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Gaylord Betcher; and sister-in-law, Doris Betcher. Memorial service will be held at 11 am at Grace Lutheran Church, Deephaven, MN on Sat., Aug. 20, 2011. Interment Groveland Cemetery.
