Martz, Robert "Bob" 1920 - 2011 Bob Martz, 91 of Kenosha, WI passed away Tuesday, June 14th at Lakeview Specialty Hospital and Rehabilitation Center in Waterford with his family at his side. Born in Minneapolis, MN on March 4th, 1920, the son of the late Nicholas and Esther (Frederickson) Martz. He was educated in the schools of Minnestoa. He attended the University of Minnesota, Northwestern University and Stanford University studiing Mortgage Banking. In 1991 he and his wife moved to Kenosha to make their home. On August 24th, 1946 he married Patricia Emard at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN. He served in the United States Army Medical Service Corps during World War II and Korea. For 15 years Bob was City Assessor at Eden Prairie, MN, retiring in 1983. A member of the Lions Club, a lifelong member of VFW Post #1869. He enjoyed politics and loved golfing, watching the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers. He was a man with integrity and a wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed. Surviving are his wife, Patricia of Kenosha; his three children, John Martz of Durango, CO; David Martz of St. Paul, MN; Linda (Gary) Heyden of Kenosha, WI; and one granddaughter, Sarah Heyden of Eagan, MN. He was preceded in death by a son, Gregory and a brother, Lloyd Martz. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 20th at Proko Funeral Home at 10 A.M.
