Sylvia J. Kerr

Kerr, Sylvia J. age 69, of Falcon Heights, died June 7, 2011 surrounded by her family after a long struggle with cancer. Preceded in death by husband, Norman; parents Frederic and Maud. Survived by her children, David (Mary) and Kathy Kerr (Tim Ward); grandchildren, Miranda and Colin Ward, Grace Kerr and many friends. Sylvia was a longtime Hamline University Biology Professor and an active volunteer with many community groups. She gave her last lecture for Olli Lifelong Learning just last week. Memorial service 1 PM Sunday at Macalester Plymouth United Church, 1658 Lincoln Ave., St. Paul. Private interment Roselawn Cemetery.
