Cordes, Mary Ann (Hazuka) Dec. 24, 1920 - May 20, 2011 Age 90, of South St. Paul, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. Preceded in death by husband, Lawrence R. Cordes, parents, John & Josephine Hazuka, parents-in-law, Frank & Edna Cordes, sister, Lillian Muehlegger, brothers, John Hazuka & Raymond Hazuka, sisters-in-law, Blanche Hazuka, Joan Hedberg, Donna Stanton, Adeline Cordes, Mona Cordes, and brothers-in-law, Albert Black, Joseph Muehlegger, Donald Stanton, Marvin Cordes & Richard Cordes. Survived by children, Gregory (Kimberly) Cordes & Anita (Mark) Williams; grandchildren, Jessica (Steven) & Devin; great-grandson, Andrew; sister, Emily Black; sisters-in-law, Dolores Hazuka, Joyce (Richard) Zywiec; brother-in-law, Clarence (Louise) Hedberg; and many nieces, nephews & friends. Mary was very strong in her faith and continued to pray the rosary until her last days. Her sweet smile and sense of humor made everyone feel loved & comforted. Mary was very generous and always put others before herself. She supported many religious and social organizations through prayer, gifts, and especially her time. Special thanks to Mary's many visitors and caregivers, including everyone at Timber Hills Presbyterian Home, Tiffany, Amanda, Scott, Dan, Marilyn, Larry, Beth, Ellen, Kathryn, Ruby, Mary, Lucy, Sara, Bismarck, Maxwell, Kim, Mainhia, Cindy, & Kayla. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM, Tuesday May 24th at The Church of Holy Trinity, 749 Sixth Ave S. at 8th St; SSP. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery, SSP.
