Bronson (Miller), Roxanne "Roxie" age 82, of Excelsior, formerly of Edina and Stillwater, passed away April 2, 2011 at her home. Survived by daughters, Cynthia (Dan) Sweigert of Pittsburgh, Betsy (Mike) Brandes of Chanhassen, Nancy (Don) Bucklin of Phoenix; sister, Sally (Dick) Ellis of Edina; brother, Don (Ruth Ann) Miller of Burnsville; former husband, Edgerton (Marlys) Bronson of Woodbury; grandchildren, Emily, Julia, David and Laura Brandes of Chanhassen, Lindsay and Lauren Bucklin of Phoenix; nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Roxie attended West High School, William Woods College and the University of Minnesota. She took amazing pride in the raising of her children and caring of her home. Her family and friends meant the world to her. Roxie and her family were blessed with angels here on earth that made it possible for her to remain in her home over the last few months. To Tracy and Jeff Gagnon, Stephanie Rutledge, Haylee Hecksel, Jolean Hecksel, Sally Hebson, Cori Horazuk, Stacy Klone, Julie Lynch, Kate Nyame, Kristy Points, Tracey Parsons, Eva Rose, Stacey Waddell, Colleen Wermerskirchen and Dawne Wermerskirchen, we will be forever grateful for the love, kindness, compassion, companionship and amazing care you provided Mom. Per Roxie's request a private family service will be held at Lakewood Cemetery. The family would love to visit with friends at Washburn- McReavy in Edina on Thursday, April 7 from 4-7 PM.
