Rogers Anna M., age 87, longtime resident of Anoka. She was born Dec. 26, 1914 in Spencer, NE and died Jan. 1, 2002. Anna worked at the Anoka State Hospital for 20 years. She was a life-time VFW member and a volunteer for the Ladies Auxiliary. Also a 30-year TOPS member and volunteered for Operation Hope in Anoka. Survived by children, Karnie (George) Sonterre, Annie (Joe) Gergely, Darlynne Lemieux, Chuck (Jan) Rogers, Linda Irey, Douglas (Geryl) Rogers; 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Millie Sumstad, Esther Wallin, Ruth Stellick, Jenny (Carl) Larson, Edna (Skip) Darsow; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Hanson, Dory Hanson and Kaye Hanson; many dear friends. Greeted in Heaven by grandchildren, Dean Sonterre, Jim Rogers and Jeff Rogers; great-grandchild, Glory Irey; son-in-law, Steve Irey; parents, Gust & Mathilda Hanson; brothers, Oscar, Bobby and Bucky Hanson; sisters, Lillian Bebansi, Elin Pierskalla and Evelyn Hanson. Funeral service Monday, 11 am, with reviewal one hour prior at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, W. Main St. & Branch Ave., Anoka. Visitation Sunday, 4-7 pm. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery.
