Paul, M. Joyce Age 94, died November 13, 2010, at her home in Anoka. She was preceded in death by parents, Mildred and Fredrick Paul and brother F. Lee. She is survived by niece, Nancy, and nephew, James and special friend, Mary L. Westerberg. A graduate of both Central High School and the Univ. of Minnesota. She was a high school teacher of speech, theater and was a Girl Scout Executive Director for many years. Joyce was an active member of Zion Lutheran, Anoka Kiwanis, and Lake Wobegon Brass Band Advisory Board. She was very involved in the Harlan Thurston Foundation, Mercy Hospital Foundation Board, Anoka Public Library Board, Anoka County Red Cross, Gray Ladies, Sigma Kapa Sorority, Zeta Phi - Eta Speech Sorority, and Anoka Area Retired Educators Association. She was very involved in Girl Scouting in Omaha, St. Paul, Red Rock, and Minneapolis areas for 79 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Joyce Paul Anoka High School Scholarship Fund (3939 7th Ave., Anoka, MN 55303). Memorial service Saturday, Nov. 20, 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 4th Ave. S., Anoka with visitation 1 hour prior. Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel 763-767-1000
