Nalezny, Eva 87, of Browerville, passed away Nov. 11, 2010 at her residence. Funeral service Mon., Nov. 15, 11 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Browerville with Fr. Ralph Zimmerman officiating. Visitation Sunday, Nov. 14, 4:00-8:00 p.m., at the Iten Funeral Home in Browerville and on the day of the service beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery, Browerville. Eva was born Feb. 18, 1923 in Mankato to Charles & Ella (Hanel) Anderson. She attended grade school in Judson and graduated from Nicollet High School. After graduation, Eva moved to Mpls and worked at a machine shop. Eva married George Nalezny on July 3, 1947 in Mpls. Together they built a cabin and retirement home in 1957 on Big Lake where she worked to provide a loving home for all of her family to enjoy. Eva was known for her kindness, willingness to help and was an all around good gal. She was a member of Big Lake Sportsman's Club, VFW, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Christ the King Catholic Church, Browerville where she helped with many different organizations. Eva is survived by her children Joseph (Pam) Nalezny of Maple Grove, Jerome (Wendy) Nalezny of Golden Valley, Krysteen (Jack) Potts of Albert Lea, Jane (Chuck) Buhl of Browerville, MaryJo Nalezny of Maple Grove, grandchildren, Michael (Sheryl) Nalezny, Christopher (Liz) Nalezny, Aaron Nalezny, Brian (Kyra) Nalezny, Chad and Amy Hummel, Jennifer and Christopher Buhl, great grandchildren: Kylee Jo, Mariah and Emily Hummel, Omar and Mason Dempsey, Isabella Nalezny; special friend of 70 years Lola Schockey of Oregon; sisters in law: Lois Nalezny, Elaine Anderson and Marcella Nalezny; and many nieces and nephews.
