Liebe, Edward B. of Currie, MN, died Oct. 13, 2010 in Fredericksburg, VA at the age of 95. Mr. Liebe was born Sept. 19, 1915 in St. Paul, MN. He served his country in WWII and upon his return finished his studies at the University of Minnesota where he was awarded a grant to work at the University as a Research Assistant in the Agricultural Biochemistry Experiment Station. Upon graduation from the U of M he took a job at the US Dept. of Agriculture and was promoted to the National Office in Washington DC where he worked until his retirement and then moved to Currie, MN. He is survived by his children, James Liebe of Markham, VA, Christine Powers of Reno, NV, Paul Liebe of Flagstaff, AZ, Mary Oliver of Hartwood, VA, John Liebe of Upper Marlboro, MD, John Patricelli of Blaine, MN, Bob Patricelli of Jeanette, PA and Fred Patricelli of Ham Lake, MN; niece, Helene Mary Wald of Orlando, FL, along with numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial at the CHURCH OF ST. HEDWIG, 129 - 29th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN, Friday at 10 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment Friday 1:45 PM at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 - 34th Ave. S., Mpls, MN 55450. Memorials preferred to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 501 Mill St., Currie, MN 56123.
