Sister, Sister Felice Cannon

Cannon, Sister Felice, CSJ Sister Felice Cannon, nee Grace Mary Cannon, died October 14, 2010 after 17 years at Bethany, our retirement home. In 1935 she entered the Novitiate of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. After completing her Novitiate she began fifty years of teaching. Her missions included St. Lawrence and the Basilica in Minneapolis, St. John Academy in Jamestown, North Dakota, St. Vincent and at St. Therese in St. Paul where she served as both teacher and principal. When she finished seventeen years of teaching at St. Raphael School in Crystal, Minnesota, she came to St. Joseph Provincial House where she "actively" retired. Preceded in death by her parents, James Patrick and Grace Cannon, and a brother, Don. Survived by a sister, Marcella (Charles) Miller; many nieces and nephews, the Sisters of St. Joseph, consociates and Bethany staff. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Monday at Bethany Convent, 1870 Randolph Ave., St. Paul. Visitation one hour prior at Bethany. Burial following Mass at Resurrection Cemetery.
