Vina A. Burge

Burge, Vina A. age 88, formerly of Hayward, WI passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Freedom Pointe of Minnetonka, in Minnetonka MN. Vi was born March 18, 1922 to the late Elmer and Julie (Stenstadvald) Erickson. Vi graduated from the Steele High School in ND. She then went on to graduate from the Bismarck School of Nursing with a Registered Nursing Degree. Vina married C. Robert Burge November 16, 1946 in Edina, MN. He preceded her in death March 13, 1999. Those who gratefully shared her life are her son Michael (Jane), granddaughters Michelle and Sarah Burge. A celebration of Vina's life will be held 11:00 a.m, October 15th at the Hayward United Methodist Church with Rev. Daniel J. Fahs officiating. A gathering of friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Vi enjoyed participating in church activities, as well as music, dance, golfing, playing bridge, crossword puzzles and entertaining friends and family. She touched many lives with her smile, generosity and her willingness to help. You will always be in our hearts and memories.
