Barbara Marie Piontek

Piontek, Barbara Marie of Bloomington, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2010 after a short illness. Barbara had a long and active career in the field of nursing. Through her leadership and support she was appointed the Assistant Director of Nursing at Fairview Ridges Hospital before becoming Vice President for Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer. She will be deeply missed by family, friends and her faithful companions, Hunter and Leisha. Graveside Service 1 PM Wednesday, September 29th at Assumption Catholic Church Cemetery, 305 E. 77th St., Richfield. Visitation 4-7 PM Tuesday at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Ave. S. with prayer service at 6 PM.
