Bornhuse, Karl-Heinz Werner age 63, of Fridley, passed away on September 10, 2010. Proceeded in death by his mother, father, in-laws and nephew. Survived by daughters, Heidi (Mike) Bornhuse-Hanson and Shannon (Jason) Starry; grandchildren, Cole and Cameron; Linda Bornhuse, family and many friends. Karl came to the U.S. to complete his degree in agriculture at the U of M. Married here he moved back to Germany where his two daughters were born. After returning to Minnesota , Karl was an accomplished welder- fabricator with a 30+ year career. His passions were gardening and people. He was kind, loving and always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. His giving spirit and gentle soul will be missed by many. Funeral service 11AM Wednesday at Brooklyn United Methodist Church, 7200 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center.
