Hilla, John Jay age 59, of Prior Lake, owner of American Prairie Homes, died unexpectedly on September 10, 2010. Preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Isobel; Survived by his wife, Kathleen Garry; daughters, Heather Hilla (Chris Andree), Jennifer (Jeremy) Schlag, and Jessica Hilla (Mike Reiland); mother of his children, Linda Charland; granddaughter, Ella; stepsons, James (Amber) Garry and David Garry; siblings, Carol (John) Niesen, Julie (Dick) Peterson, Ralph (Ellen), Jim (Debbie), Ann Hilla (Greg Larson); also by other loving family and friends including Bug.
