Upson, Fr. Wilfrid L. OMI Age 80 of St Paul formerly of Sleepy Eye. Passed away peacefully on September 5, 2010. Missionary Oblate who served as a priest for 54 years. Served as pastor at St Mary's Catholic Church, St Paul and pastoral volunteer at the Union Gospel Mission in St Paul. He was noted for his ministry with alcoholics and the poor. Preceded in death by brother, Howard "Bud". Survived by niece, Mary Kay; nephews, John and Tim; many cousins including Marcella and Joanne Sellner; many other relatives, friends and his Oblate Community. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM Thursday, 9/9/10, at ST MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 261 East 8th Street, St Paul. Visitation 4-8PM Wednesday at Cerenity Care Center (Marian Care Center), 225 Frank Street, St Paul with a 7PM Rosary. Visitation will continue on Thursday at St Mary's Church from 9-10:30 AM.
