Smith, Jerry Edward, Jr. of St. Louis Park. Friends and family are invited to Jerry's Celebration of Life Service, Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, 3-5pm at Wolfe Park Pavilion/ Amphitheater, 3700 Monterey Drive, St. Louis Park, MN 55416. Jerry was born in Stamford, CT in 1955. His interests and skills were vast. He served as Student Body President, Del Norte HS, Albuquerque, NM, 1972; received an appointment to the Air Force Academy, 1973; was on the Varsity Cross Country Ski Team and Soccer Team at University of New Mexico. Jerry was a Peace Corps representative to Quito Ecuador and He worked for the National Forest Service. Jerry touched many lives as an Outward Bound Instructor, Course Director and "Great White Safety Buffalo". Other Interests included playing music, skiing, kayaking, rock climbing, soccer, foreign languages, software engineering. Most recently Jerry's interests included Martial Arts and practicing Archery with his oldest daughter. Jerry was employed by Tennant Company as Senior Business Analyst. His tragic passing leaves behind, mother Marjorie Grant, sister Priscilla Smith, brother Jay Grant, and three beloved daughters Abigail 13, Amelia 9, and Audrey 7.
