Cummins (nee Johnson), Harriet Jeanette age 93, formerly of Richfield for over 50 years. Born Sept. 21, 1916 in Ellsworth Twnshp., Meeker County, to Albert and Hilda (Peterson) Johnson and died on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 at Emmanuel Home in Litchfield, MN. Harriet attended grade school in Greenleaf Village, MN and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1934. She was united in marriage to James Harold Cummins on January 19, 1942 in Forest City, MN. She worked at the Twin City Ordinance Plant in Arden Hills, MN during WWII. Preceded in death by her husband, James H. Cummins in 1986, parents, Albert and Hilda Johnson, brothers, Arthur M., John H., Staff Sgt. Edward O., Karl A., and sister, Margaret A. Tulien and an infant sister, Mamie Alice. Harriet is survived by sister, Audrey Nordquist as well as several loving nieces and nephews. Service Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave S., Richfield. Interment Ft. Snelling. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
