MacLennan, Everett Wood 76, of Edina, died at home on July 1 after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Ann, and four children: David (Kathleen) of Edina, Laura (Tim Naylor) of Minneapolis, Elizabeth of Bloomington and Douglas (Monica Malhotra) of Dubai, UAE. Also by six grandchildren: Jack, Maggie and Catherine MacLennan, William and Everett Naylor, and Anaya MacLennan; and two brothers: Bruce G. MacLennan of Alexandria, VA, and John A. MacLennan of Narragansett, RI. He was born in Quincy, MA, on August 3, 1933, graduated from Amherst College and was employed for his entire career of 42 years by Cargill, Inc. He worked in the Grain, Pan American, and Metals Trading Divisions and the Commodity Trading Group before retiring as Senior VP for Human Resources. His many volunteer activities included serving on the boards of Methodist Hospital, Cambridge Lee Industries, and the Minnesota Private College Foundation. He also served as a probation officer for Hennepin County Court Services and as a Traveler's Assistant at MSP Airport. The family respectfully requests no flowers but in lieu, memorials are preferred to the MacLennan Family Scholarship Fund at Amherst College, Colonial Church of Edina, or Fairview Home Care & Hospice.
