Morrison, James H. June 14, 1918 - June 4, 2010 Age 92 of Minneapolis, died peacefully at home, surrounded by the loving care of his family and care- givers. Jim was born to Henry and Clara (Jackson) Morrison on June 14, 1918 in Minneapolis, MN. He had two sisters. He served four years in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He married June Benolken on September 27, 1940. He spent nearly 70 years in a loving marriage, and was a loving and dedicated father to his three daughters. He is survived by three daughters, Joanne (Sonny) Ahrens, of Winona, MN; Judy Duncan, of Mound, MN; and Janice Palm, of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by 12 grandchild- ren, and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, June; parents; two sisters; and one grandson. Funeral service will be in the Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 36th and Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, MN on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 2 PM. Visitation will be one-half hour prior to the service. Jim lived his life honestly and lovingly. His dream was to be a good husband and father. He fulfilled his dream. He will be deeply missed by his family.
