Flaherty, Patrick F. age 77, passed away surrounded by loving family on May 24, 2010. Preceded in death by parents, Patrick and Lillian. Survived by wife of 56 great years, Beverly Ann; daughters, Pady (Dennis) and Terri (Jeff); sons, Dan (Lynn) and David; 11 grandchildren, Rob (Rachael), Brandon (Penny), Jacob (Esther), Adam (Kathleen), Scott, Audrey, Ashley, Rachel, Eric, Nick and Alec; great-grandchildren, Manu, Brigid and Samuel Patrick; brother, Dick (Alice); and many relatives and friends. Pat graduated from St. Paul Murray High School, the College of St. Thomas, and William Mitchell College of Law. He practiced law at all times as a principal with the firm now known as Moss & Barnett until his retirement in 1996. He was a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Council and was noted in several editions of the Best Lawyers in America. Pat served in the USAF as the Intelligence Officer of the 318th Fighter Interceptor Squadron and with the MN Air National Guard during its Berlin crises federal activation. Pat was a founder, officer, director and part owner with other family members in Flaherty's Arden Bowl, Inc. of Arden Hills, MN. Pat's life was an inspiration and example to all who knew him. He loved his family, friends, country and was generous and kind. As his life progressed he grew in his faith and love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He enjoyed travel, fishing, hunting, and bowling. He truly loved his dear wife Beverly Ann to the end. Pat's life will be celebrated with a visitation from 9:00 AM to 11 AM followed by a Funeral Mass on Friday, May 28, 2010 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church at 2131 Fairview Avenue North in Roseville, MN 55113. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Food for the Poor, Inc./Haiti and Corpus Christi Parish. Our family appreciates the hard work and compassion shown by all the people associated with Park Nicollet especially Dr. Gregory Lehman, Minnesota ALS and also the Veterans Hospital.
