DeSantis, Gary age 59, of Long Lake. Preceded in death by father, Ernest DeSantis and loving wife, Cheryl Sayler DeSantis. Survived by adoring children, Rachel, Michael, Elizabeth, Jason & Anna; wife, Michele Ericksen DeSantis; step-children, Sam and JJ; mother, Elverna DeSantis; sister, Mary DeSantis, and many loving relatives and friends. Gary was an extraordinary man who touched all who knew him. If you met him once you were a friend of his forever. Although his absence has taken a piece of all our hearts, the memory of his humility and honor will be everlasting. When we look to the lake we will forever see a reflection of a fearless man who showed us all the power of faith, love and compassion. Keep riding, Dad...we love you. Memorial service 4 PM Monday, May 24, 2010 at Wayzata Evangelical Free Church, 705 County Road 101 N., Plymouth. Visitation 5-8 PM Sunday, at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata, and one hour prior to the service at church. Memorials will be directed by the family. Private family interment.
